Our long wait for the new 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is almost over, and it has incredibly excited us here at Hickory Mitsubishi in North Carolina. There are still many reasons for this thrill as the new Mitsubishi Outlander Sport includes a number of new upgrades and exterior and interior enhancements. So, without saying anything, we will take this into account and check out all the new features of the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport with its release date.
Exterior and Interior
All 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sports receive slightly trimmed front and rear fascia. In the front, the most important change is the addition of LED daytime running lights for each fog light. Just below them, new air inlets. The main grid with the Mitsubishi logo now features two thin chrome bars. At the rear, the rear bumper has a new anti-skid plate in the center. On each flank there are more angular reflectors.
Inside, Mitsubishi says the center console and the shift have been redesigned. More importantly, the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport now features a 7-inch entertainment information screen supplied with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is also a new option of tourist package. It adds a panoramic sunroof, adjustments to make the car quieter and more refined, and safety features such as front-end collision attenuation, ground warning, high-power road lights and a rear camera.
The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is available with the option of a 2.4-liter, 2.0-liter or 168-horsepower, 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine.
Release and Price
The upgraded 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport will hit dealers this fall, but prices have yet to be announced.
