This week, BMW introduced the 2018 version of its flagship electric vehicle, the 2018 BMW i3. Unless you’re a fan of the i3 program, you’ll probably not see anything important with this new version, which does not have ‘a significant improvement of the propulsion system, but there are some nice new modifications.
Exterior and Interior
On the outside, the 2018 BMW i3 will come with a number of new touches here and there, differentiating it from previous models. Buyers intervene quickly notice the new black finish pillars and roofline, a matte chrome roof, face-up and rear aprons to enhance the width of the i3, a new chrome rear-accentuation of the band and the level of LED full lights and turn the signals. The changes will be complemented by two new exterior colors: Melbourne Red Metallic and Imperial Blue Metallic.
Inside, the 2018 BMW i3 will remain virtually unchanged, with the exception of the new iDrive 6 interfaces. This system will give the driver an intuitive interface to control different parts of the vehicle, including infotainment features, communications and navigation.
The biggest improvement is a new sports program called 2018 BMW i3 with a slightly higher engine power (135 kW / 184 hp vs. 125 kW / 170 hp) and a new sport suspension. BMW says it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h (62 mph) in 6.9 seconds. The new version of the car also gives an extra 40 millimeters of track width and new design accents.

The 2018 BMW i3 is now available for pre-order at dealerships across the country. The base price of the 2018 BMW i3 starts at $ 44,595 and models in the extended starting range $ 48,445 (including destination fees).
